THE ADVENTURE
Welcome to Bangkok! Today you can land anytime, spend your day relaxing by the rooftop pool and recover from the flight. You can also hop on a tuk-tuk with your travel companions and explore Bangkok’s golden temples! In the evening, we’ll meet with the group and head out for a drink and dinner in the famous Khao San district. We’ll savor local specialties and get acquainted with our new buddies!
We’ll kick off early to catch a flight to Chiang Rai in the north. Following a lunch at our favorite local spot, we’ll hop on our very local Thai transportation and begin exploring the city’s fascinating temples! We’ll visit the “Big Buddha” and the Blue Temple, each with its unique allure. The highlight of our exploration will be the White Temple. This architectural masterpiece, known for its beauty and unique style, is sure to leave us in awe. In the evening, we’ll stroll through the Night Market, where we can try diverse street food specialities and enjoy a traditional dance performance.
We’ll continue our adventure into the Chiang Dao area. We’ll settle in a treehouse nestled in an unspoiled mountain village, surrounded by dense forests. A perfect spot for nature lovers, who want to get off the beaten track and forget about their busy daily life. After lunch we’ll embark on a hike through the jungle with a local villager and will be rewarded with a refreshing plunge in a waterfall. In the evening, we can enjoy a Thai massage, relax on the jungle-view terrace, or have a drink in a riverside café. We’ll fall asleep to the soothing sounds of nature, offering a retreat from the hectic world.
We will wake up to breathtaking views of a lush jungle and enjoy a serene breakfast on the terrace. We will then head to a small elephant sanctuary, where we will spend time interacting and bathing with the elephants in their natural environment. Today our lunch will be special as we learn how to prepare our very own Pad Thai noodle dish! In the afternoon, our journey will continue to Chiang Mai, known as the cultural capital of Thailand. We can choose how to spend our evening: shall we head to our secret rooftop bar or have dinner at the vibrant Night Bazaar?
Today is a leisure day to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of Chiang Mai. Just want to relax by the pool and try out local coffee shops? Do it! Want to explore beautiful local temples and have a chat with apprentice monks? Let’s go! Our tour coordinator will be there to explain the options and embark on any activities chosen by the group. In the evening, we’ll take an overnight train to Ayutthaya – an epic journey that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime!
The first sunlight will bring us to Ayutthaya, the ancient capital of the Siam Kingdom. We’ll leave our bags at the station and take a tuk-tuk to visit an authentic local morning market. After breakfast, we’ll rent bicycles and start exploring Ayutthaya’s ancient temples and ruins (UNESCO World Heritage site). Later we’ll venture back to Bangkok and enjoy a well-deserved dip in our hotel’s rooftop pool. If you want to explore a different side of Bangkok, we recommend joining us for an evening tuk-tuk ride to Chinatown, known as one of the most authentic in the world.
This morning we bid farewell to Bangkok as we board a flight to Krabi, our gateway to the islands. We’ll have some free time to relax, shop or take a massage. Ao Nang beach where our hotel is located is especially known for its beautiful sunsets and breathtaking views, so we won’t miss our first sunset drink on the beach!
This morning we’ll take a longtail boat to the famous Railay Beach where we’re free to spend the day. Railay Beach is a paradise with beautiful white sandy shores, turquoise waters, and impressive limestone cliffs. We can rent kayaks to explore hidden caves or simply relax on gorgeous beaches. In the evening, we’ll reunite with our group to explore the local Night Market or have drinks and dinner together!
Today we head to Koh Jum – one of the most authentic islands in Thailand! This hidden gem has a serene and laid-back vibe, unspoiled by mass tourism. No big hotels here; there’s just one road around the island and hardly any cars. We’ll settle into our lovely beachside bungalows, take a first dip and enjoy the serenity of the surroundings. Tonight we’ll take you to our favorite hidden reggae bar to enjoy the sunset and the authentic island vibes.
Today you can choose to spend your time relaxing on the beach, or join us in optional island activities. We can visit the island by tuk-tuk, encounter friendly locals, and try delicious meals at family-run restaurants. We’ll relax at laid-back beach bars, sipping cocktails and enjoying the vibe. You can also go kayaking, join a small local cooking class, or hike to Koh Pu Mountain with a local guide.
After a relaxed morning, our journey will continue to the world-famous Koh Phi Phi island, known for its breathtaking natural beauty, paradise beaches and vibrant nightlife. This afternoon we can relax on the beach or climb to a viewpoint that offers panoramic views of the lagoons and mountains. As the sun begins to set, we’ll hang out at one of the island’s beach bars and might even stumble upon a fire show.
This morning we embark on our own private fisherman boat to visit the most beautiful beaches around Koh Phi Phi. Our aim is to arrive early, allowing us to witness the astonishing beauty of turquoise waters, white sands and limestone cliffs without the crowds. Along our journey, we’ll have plenty of opportunities to swim, relax, snorkel, and encounter monkeys. After returning to Koh Phi Phi, we can simply chill by the pool, hit the shops or get a massage. In the evening we’ll reunite for dinner in a local spot, reminiscing about the incredible journey we’ve shared!
Today we’ll take a boat back to the mainland and fly back to Bangkok. We’ll settle into our last hotel and head to a local market for a last authentic dinner together. What an adventure!
