We are Kristina & Wacyl, passionate adventurers who founded TerraXplora in collaboration with Germalo Reisid – Estonia’s top tour operator, known for providing high-quality cultural travel packages to over 100 destinations since 1992.
Life partners and fellow adventurers, we began our journey in the bustling visual effects and film industry of Paris. Throughout our 20s and 30s, we built careers in the film industry, working on major international productions and living active urban lives.
Despite the fulfilling careers and achievements in the film industry, the only moments when we truly felt alive were during our escapades in remote places. Every chance we got, we took our backpacks and set off on quests to distant lands. Our travels and encounters reshaped our perspective, gradually fueling the desire to channel our wanderlust into something bigger.
In 2023, we made the decision to turn our passion for travel into our profession and co-founded TerraXplora with the exceptional Germalo Reisid team, aiming to unite young people like us through unforgettable small group adventures.
