You’ll receive a full refund or can move your deposit to another Terraxplora trip.
Flights are not included, so you can join from anywhere in the world. Arrive earlier and/or extend your vacation. You have total flexibility and control
Yes. We help you choose the best flight options and arrival times.
Fly into and out of Lima (LIM).
Ideally before 2:00 pm. The welcome meeting start at 5:00 pm at our hotel in Lima, around 40 minutes from the airport.
You can depart at any time. No activities are planned on the last day. The airport is about 40 minutes from the hotel, and your Tour Leader can help arrange transfers if needed.
Yes, if you arrive on Day 1. Arrival transfers are private to Terraxplora and organised in small groups based on flight times. You may need to wait briefly at the airport. If you arrive earlier than Day 1, you’ll need to arrange your own transfer. To secure your arrival transfer, you must submit your flight details at least 30 days before departure. You’ll receive automated reminders, but our team won’t chase missing details. If details are submitted late, you’ll need to organise your own transfer. Departure transfers are not included, as travelers leave at different times. Your Tour Leader can help arrange one if needed.

Around €10-€30 per day, excluding alcohol. If you eat like a local, it can be less. In Peru, meals can cost as little as €3–4. Tips for your Terraxplora Leader and local guides are not included.
Our trips are beginner-friendly and designed to be accessible. You don’t need extreme fitness, but you should be comfortable with active days.
We’re not medical professionals and can’t give personalised medical advice. We recommend visiting your doctor at least 8 weeks before departure to discuss vaccinations and medications. If you take prescription medication, bring enough for the full trip plus a few extra days. Carry a copy of your prescription with you.
Yes, you can request it upon booking. This comes at an extra cost depending on availability and location.
Inca Trail permits and Machu Picchu entries are limited and sell out months in advance. We strongly recommend booking this trip at least 8-9 months before departure to secure Inca Trail access and Machu Picchu entry. If permits are unavailable, we’ll arrange an alternative hike and Machu Picchu visit that captures the same spirit and experience.
The itinerary, activities, and hotels may change due to weather, availability, or other circumstances beyond our control. If changes happen, we’ll always aim to minimise the impact on your experience. Occasionally, we also update itineraries to test new ideas and keep trips fresh.
