THE ADVENTURE
Welcome to Nepal’s vibrant capital, Kathmandu! Today, we dive into the historic heart of Thamel, wandering narrow streets lined with ancient architecture and getting our first taste of the warm Nepali hospitality. As evening falls, we’ll gather with the group for a sunset drink at our secret rooftop bar, soaking in stunning views of the city and the surrounding mountains.
Let the adventure begin! On our second day we will start our bus ride from Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Nepal’s most renowned protected areas, located in the subtropical lowlands of the Terai region. As Kathmandu is located 1400m above sea level, the road will take us through beautiful views of valleys, rivers and villages into lush, tropical rainforest. As Nepal has so many mountains, there is no railroad. Upon arrival we can enjoy our cozy hotel and relax by the pool. Our evening will be filled with exploring a traditional Tharu ethnic village and enjoying a Tharu cultural dance performance. The Tharu people are an indigenous ethnic group of the Terai. Certainly local cuisine and fresh fruits will be part of our cultural experience.
After a fulfilling breakfast we’ll kick off our wildlife adventure by gliding down the river in a traditional canoe, spotting crocodiles along the way.
We’ll continue with a jungle hike led by our local experienced guide. Chitwan is home to an impressive array of flora and fauna, including over 700 species of wildlife. Some of the iconic species found here include the endangered Bengal tiger, one-horned rhinoceros, Asian elephant, sloth bear, leopard, and gharial crocodile. After lunch our journey will take us deeper into jungle safari with jeeps. Sustainable tourism practices are promoted within the park to minimize environmental impact while providing visitors with opportunities for wildlife viewing. In the evening, we’ll relax in our beautiful resort by the pool
Today’s all about embracing the local charm! In the morning, we’ll set off on a relaxing bicycle ride through the traditional villages of Chitwan, giving you a real taste of authentic Nepalese life, you’ll see locals going about their day, kids playing in the fields, and farmers tending their crops. In the late afternoon, we’ll hop into tuk-tuks and head to our favorite hidden riverside hippie bar. Here, we’ll kick back and watch an unforgettable sunset over the river, a perfect way to unwind after an adventurous day.
Saying goodbye to Chitwan as we hop on the bus and our journey takes us to the foothills of the glorious Himalayas. Hello hikers paradise of Pokhara! Pokhara is a picturesque city located in central Nepal. It serves as the gateway to the Annapurna mountain range, one of the most popular trekking destinations in the world. Our hotel is located next to the Phewa Lake. Phewa Lake, the second-largest lake in Nepal, adds to the city’s charm, offering opportunities for boating and enjoying the serene ambiance. Here we have a free evening to enjoy sunset in the famous Lakeside area with its large variety of bars, restaurants and nightlife.
Our road to the discovery of the secrets of the Himalayas begins. After breakfast we drive to the village Kande, from where we will trek 3-4 hours to the Australian Base Camp. The elevation of the Australian Camp is 2060 meters from the ocean position. We will spend the night in our mountain guesthouse, where we can enjoy fresh food from the local village, while being immersed in the view of the highest mountains in the world. Australian Camp allows a magnificent view of the Annapurna South (7219m) and Hiunchuli (6441m) along with the majestic Machapuchare aka The Fishtail (6993m) dominating the entire geography as far as the eye can see. Australian Camp is also a perfect place for contemplation and yoga. You won’t get disturbed by the noise of vehicles or any other crowd in this place. This place is located in the middle of nature and far from urbanization.
Prepare for one of the most breathtaking sunrises of your life, with the Himalayas glowing in the morning light: a moment you’ll never forget.
After sunrise, we’ll set off on a scenic hike to Astam, winding through spectacular landscapes dotted with mountain villages, crossing iconic suspension bridges, and sharing smiles with friendly locals along the way.
Start your morning with a relaxing time in the peaceful mountain setting, the perfect opportunity to soak in the fresh air and stunning views.
By lunchtime, you’ll join a local family to learn how to make Nepal’s famous momos dumplings, getting hands-on with this beloved Nepalese specialty right in the heart of the mountains.
In the afternoon, we’ll head back to Pokhara where you can relax with a traditional Nepalese massage, kick back at our favorite healthy café, lounge by the resort’s pool, or browse local shops for some treasures.
As night falls, get ready for an energetic evening out in Pokhara: enjoy live music, traditional performances, lakeside parks, and plenty of cool spots along the shimmering lakefront.
Begin your day with a calming sound healing session in a hidden Buddhist temple. the perfect way to recharge your mind and spirit.
The rest of the day is yours to explore Pokhara at your own pace. We can take a boat ride to the island of the Tal Barahi Temple, visit the Tibetan Monastery, take a ride or hike to the World Peace Pagoda. It is a day off, anything is possible: take massages, visit the local market or just relax by the pool. Our tour coordinator will be available to organize various activities with the group. If you’re an adrenaline seeker, Pokhara is also home to one of the world’s best paragliding spots. Fly over stunning lakes and mountains for an unforgettable adventure!
It is time to say goodbyes to sweet Pokhara and start our bus ride to the capital of Nepal. The road takes us through many villages and beautiful views. We will make several stops during the journey. We will spend our evening in the heart of Kathmandu, Thamel.
Good morning, Kathmandu! Today is all about exploring the city’s most sacred and historic sites. We’ll start with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple, the second holiest site in Hinduism after Varanasi, where centuries of tradition come alive. Then, we’ll continue to the iconic Buddha Stupa, the serene Shechen Monastery, and the legendary Monkey Temple, each offering their own glimpse into Nepal’s rich spiritual tapestry.
In the evening, we’ll wrap up our incredible adventure with a lively farewell party night in Kathmandu, the perfect way to celebrate and say goodbye to this amazing journey.
It is the day for our goodbyes to the kind nature of Nepal, its unique people and the secrets that this ancient culture holds. In the morning we will head to the airport.

Physical rating:
Be prepared for an active trip! However, our hikes are relatively easy and don’t require any specific preparation. This trip is perfect for someone who doesn’t want to do a long and hard trek, and wants to enjoy the wonderful nature and spirituality of Nepal. No need to worry about carrying your backpack during the hike: we will leave the big bags to our hotel in Pokhara.
Transportations:
In Nepal the roads are poor and road maintenance works may sometimes involve delays in travel. We will do our best to ensure that this impacts our trip as little as possible, please be patient and flexible.
