Today, we take the train to the famous film festival city of Cannes. We’ll walk around the city, visit the local Provence market to gather supplies for a picnic, and then head to Saint-Marguerite Island, a half-hour boat ride from Cannes. We’ll explore the island and relax on the beautiful turquoise beaches. Before returning to Nice in the evening, we’ll have the opportunity to stroll through the narrow streets of Cannes’ old town and admire views of the charming harbour.

Today we’ll visit the vibrant Cours Saleya market and then head to the Colline du Château viewpoint to admire the panoramic views of Nice. In the afternoon, we go on a hike around the beautiful Cap Ferrat peninsula, considered one of the most beautiful trails on the Azure Coast. Our hike starts in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, accessible by train. During this easy hike, we’ll see stunning coastline and picturesque views, swim in turquoise waters (season dependent), and optionally visit the Renaissance-style Rothschild Villa and gardens.

After a morning croissant, we’ll take a train to Eze-sur-Mer, where we’ll embark on a one-hour hike on the famous Nietzsche trail, leading us to the picturesque Eze Village perched 400 meters high on a cliff. Along the way, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the entire coastline. Once at the top, we’ll stroll through the beautiful medieval village and optionally visit the botanical garden. Then we can relax on Eze’s beach and visit the seaside town of Villefranche-sur-Mer. In the evening, there is the option for those interested to visit the Monte Carlo Casino.
